Covid-19 Outbreak Update
Blackdown Support Group has been working closely with the Blackdown Practice, local Parish Councils, local churches and other partner organisations to co-ordinate and support community response throughout the Covid-19 crisis. We are in the process of scaling back some delivery services and have re-started our medical transport service. Support with shopping or prescription collections is still available to those in the “shielded” extremely vulnerable category and for anyone who needs support for other reasons – for example ill health or frailty. Please contact us if you have a request, we are always happy to help or advise.
Welcome to the Blackdown Support Group Website
The BSG Vision is that those in need of support to relieve sickness, to preserve good health and well-being within our catchment area receive it. We work to achieve this vision by making it our mission to identify and provide a range of appropriate support measures to individuals and to groups.
